Optomen TV signs with WGA East
The Authors Guild of America East has unionized Optomen Television, the 4th nonfiction TV company that's belong to WGA East jurisdiction. The WGA East introduced Wednesday that Optomen employees had chosen to become repped through the guild. The org stated the workers incorporated individuals who write and convey nonfiction Television shows including "Monsters Inside Me," "Samantha Brown's Great Weekends" and "Worst Cooks in the usa.Inch First contract discussions at two other WGA-repped companies -- Atlas Media and Lion Television -- are going to begin on Thursday and Monday, correspondingly. "We're excited the gifted people of Optomen have chosen to become listed on the Authors Guild East," stated WGAE prexy Michael Winship inside a statement. The WGA East noted the National Labor Relations Board election at Optomen happened in December but your final election count have been delayed because of "procedural delays."
