Sutton Promote Lands Lead in ABC Family Pilot

Tony Award-winning actress Sutton Promote remains cast in the new pilot from "Gilmore Women" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.Inside the ABC Family project, "Bunheads," Promote may have Michelle, a Las vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man and moves to his sleepy seaside town, taking a role at her mother-in-law's dance school. Promote is famous on her stage work, last starring inside the revival "Anything Goes," that they won a Tony. She's starred in many Broadway productions, including "Little Women," "The Drowsy Chaperone," "Shrek the Musical" and "Youthful Frankenstein." Her concentrate on "Completely Modern Winnie" also won Promote a Tony.Round the television side, Promote has guest starred on HBO's "Flight in the Conchords" and NBC's "Law & Order: SVU."ABC Family canceled "TheNine Lives of Chloe King," restored "Ensure It Is or Break It" and bought more cases of "The Lounging Game." It will start its "13 Nights of Halloween" programming event getting a standalone episode of "Pretty Little Liars." The Hollywood Reporter
