Venice dishes Controcampo awards

The Venice Film Festival has granted its first jerk."Scialla!" (Chill), a parent-and-boy laffer marking Italo scribe Francesco Bruni's dierectorial debut, may be the champion from the primary jerk within the Controcampo Italiano section, devoted to new trends in Italian cinema.Created by Beppe Caschetto, with financing from RAI Cinema, "Chill" stars Fabrizio Bentivoglio ("The Household Friend") being an apathetic upon the market schoolteacher who finds out he's a15-years old boy. Barbora Bobulova ("Coco Chanel") plays an old pornstar. Pic is a surprise Lido crowdpleaser.Bruni and helmer Paolo Virzi authored the script for "The Very First Beautiful Factor," Italy's 2010 foreign-language Oscar contender.The 2010 broadened Controcampo section also dished out a best docu jerk to Fiorenza Infascelli's hard-striking "Pugni chiusi," about several laid-off Sardinian employees who stage a protest within an abandoned jailhouse.The Controcampo short prize visited "A Chjna " by Jonas Carpignano, an old Spike Lee collaborator.
