What are some movies with the theme of hitting bottom in life and getting back up?

I just saw the movie Bridesmaids and it was really good. It was very
funny but it also had that message of the main character hitting
bottom and then getting back up. So suggestions could be any type of
movie really - comedy, drama, funny, serious - whatever.
